Complete the following form and submit your unofficial college transcript(s) for an unofficial transcript evaluation!* Any student considering CBU can leverage this resource, even if they have not yet been accepted to the university, by following this simple, three-step process:

  1. Complete the following form, filling out all the requested information and attaching your unofficial college transcript(s).
  2. Our University Registrar will review your transcript(s), perform an evaluation and notify your admissions counselor once it is completed.
  3. Your admissions counselor will contact you via email with your unofficial evaluation within 5 business days. You will then have the opportunity to meet with your admissions counselor and review the evaluation to better understand your degree progress and when it’s best to transfer.

*This evaluation is unofficial. If you wish to see your transcripts officially evaluated, please apply to CBU and wait for an admission decision.

Check out CBU's Articulation Agreements with select California community colleges to review general education equivalencies and pre-nursing prerequisite courses.

  • Access Transferology, an online tool that allows you to see which courses transfer to CBU. Follow the steps by creating an account or logging into your account, enter the college/university courses you completed and click "search for matches" to see how your courses transfer to CBU.
  • Please note this is not an exhaustive list of courses that transfer to CBU, we are always updating it with new equivalencies! If you see that your courses do not transfer or would like them further reviewed, select the "Request Information" button on the CBU profile to send your course report to us. Your admissions counselor will connect with you once a review has been completed.
  • If you have already selected a major to pursue at CBU, you can reference these Major Planning Guides which lay out the general education and degree requirements for each academic program.
  • Along with the Articulation Agreements or Transferology, you can then use the Major Planning Guides to see how your transferrable courses apply to your major.
  • An associate degree is not required to transfer to CBU.
  • Individuals transferring to CBU with an associate degree and either IGETC and CSU General Education Breadth Certification prior to transfer are waived from general education requirements with the exception of the biblical and theological core and English composition (ENG 113 & 123) courses.
  • Students with an approved associate degree from a regionally accredited institution outside of California or who have completed a CBU approved Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) prior to transferring are waived from general education requirements, with the exception of the biblical and theological core. For a full list of the approved pathways and which major equivalents CBU offers, see the table below.

I transferred to CBU from RCC in Spring 2020. When I was exhausted and frustrated by studying abroad, CBU was there and welcomed me. Friends I’ve met here are nice, respectful, and supportive. Instructors always help students to succeed in whatever class the would take. What I love the most about CBU is that I found God being with me as taking classes and chapels and talking with people at school!

Transferring to California Baptist University was a wise choice for me to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. I like the small class size at CBU and the CBU professors are excellent. They are very open and candid about life and experience and helped me establish connections with other professionals in the field. Happy to learn from them!

I really encourage students to transfer to CBU. They really care about the students. The learning experience is really good. Most of the professors that I took classes with were really helpful and want to teach us all the learning experience they have. They care about the international students a lot and are always able to help.

Transferring to California Baptist University has been the best decision I have ever made. It is amazing to be in a school environment where you are important. You are an individual with a name and not just a number. The professors genuinely care a lot about you and will go the extra mile to make sure that you will succeed. This campus has so much to offer students, you will truly feel like you are part of a community.
