Our Mission

Led by biblical truth, the Bonnie G. Metcalf School of Education's mission is to prepare educational leaders of high moral character who are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to create inclusive, lifelong learners throughout the world.

Our graduates serve as professionals in a wide variety of educational settings. We ground our candidates in teaching-learning theory and equip them with the practical skills needed to create positive, inclusive learning environments that honors each person’s created purpose. We help our candidates reach all learners in a wide range of educational settings. Our goal is to teach our candidates how to create self-sufficient, lifelong learners who master content, critically analyze what they learn, collaborate well with others, develop innovative solutions, become leaders in biblical justice and communicate effectively.
