Receiving & Pickup

We're conveniently located at Building 11, Lancer Plaza on campus. Our windows are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Have a question after hours? Reach us at mailandshipping@calbaptist.edu or 951-343-4203.
Email or text notifications only apply to packages, and do not apply to USPS letter mail. You'll receive an automatic email notification to your university email address or text as soon as your package is checked in. Keep an eye on your inbox — we'll let you know the moment it's ready! It is your responsibility to periodically check your mailbox at The Post.
We hold packages for up to 6 months after your notification is sent. After that, unclaimed items are returned to the sender or donated to a non-profit organization. Don't leave your package waiting too long!
Yes! An authorized representative may pick up your package simply send us an email from your CBU email address w/the name of the person you are authorizing.  Make sure they have their valid photo ID at pick up.
A valid university ID is required for all pickups.

Package Lockers

The campus package locker is a secure, self-service station where students can pick up their personal packages delivered to their CBU address — you will receive a secondary email/text if/when a package has been relocated into a locker.
The locker is available to all currently enrolled students. When a locker is assigned, you will receive a 6 digit pin number to authenticate and access the locker compartment that holds your package(s).
The package locker is located beside The Post at Building 11 Lancer Plaza. It is available around the clock.
You will receive an automated email and/or text notification as soon as your package is loaded into a locker compartment. The notification will include your unique access code. Be sure your contact information is current in the student portal.

It is quick and easy:

  1. Go to the locker station at any time.
  2. Enter your unique access code.
  3. Your compartment door will pop open automatically.
  4. Retrieve your package and close the door — you are done!

Packages must be picked up within 30 calendar days of your notification. After that, unclaimed packages are transferred to the Mail and Shipping Services office for storage. We will make additional attempts to contact you on how you want to proceed. Prompt pickup keeps lockers available for everyone.

Locker compartments are available in small, medium, and large sizes to fit most standard parcels. Packages that cannot be stored in a locker compartment will be held at the Mail and Shipping Services office instead for pickup. You will still be notified automatically.

First, double-check that you are entering the code exactly as it appears in your notification. If it still does not work, contact Mail and Shipping Services during business hours.

Yes – you may share your access code with a trusted person to pick up on your behalf. Please note that you remain responsible for the package once the code is shared. Authorized pickup by proxy is at your own discretion.

No – locker compartments are assigned randomly.
