The ISSS Staff

The International Student and Scholars Services (or "ISSS") staff is here to help you as you navigate life at CBU and in the United States.

Every international student at CBU is assigned an advisor from our ISSS staff who will assist you with maintaining your visa status and answer questions related to immigration and your SEVIS record. The advisors who oversee F and J visa holders are all Designated School Officials (DSO) who have been trained in F and J visa compliance, and are permitted to advise on visa-related topics. Before you make any changes to your program rotation, graduation date, employment plans or academic schedule, it is strongly advised that you speak with your International Student Advisor first, so that we can help you stay within the regulations of your visa.
