International Student and Scholar Services

What We Do

The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff works to meet the unique needs of CBU's international student and scholar population, and to facilitate their successful integration to the United States and college life. We do this through providing academic and immigration advising for international students and scholars, hosting events and ongoing programs that promote cultural understanding across campus, and serving as a bridge to connect our international community to the greater CBU family.

We Help International Students Succeed
Through the ISSS staff students can get answers to questions on topics ranging from visa regulations to cultural acquisition, find academic, immigration or personal support, and connect with our programs and services. 

We Develop Intercultural Skills
ISSS helps students develop the intercultural and leadership skills needed to succeed. All students, international and domestic, that are interested in developing an global perspective can benefit from our programs. 

We Provide Academic and Support
Every international CBU student is assigned an International Student Advisor who will help students from arrival to graduation as they navigate the cultural and academic challenges of studying in the United States. These ISAs are knowledgable of specific academic programs and requirements, and are here to help you make normal progress toward your degree.
