International Student and Scholar Services
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff works to meet the unique needs of CBU's international student population, and to facilitate their successful integration to the United States and college life. We do this through providing academic and immigration advising for international students, hosting events and ongoing programs that promote cultural understanding across campus, and serving as a bridge to connect international students to the greater CBU community.

What We Do
We Help International Students Succeed
Through the ISSS staff students can get answers to questions on topics ranging from visa regulations to cultural
acquisition, find academic, immigration or personal support, and connect with our
programs and services.
We Develop Intercultural Skills
ISSS helps students develop the intercultural and leadership skills needed to succeed.
All students, international and domestic, that are interested in developing an global
perspective can benefit from our programs.
We Provide Academic English Preparation and Support
The Intensive English Program (IEP) at CBU offers four levels of English as Second Language (ESL) courses to help prepare
students who are not proficient in English to meet the rigorous academic standards
of their university classes.
