Registration

• How do I register?

  Registration will open January 2024. 

• Do I need to register my CBU student?

  Yes.

• Do children have to register?

  Children 3 and under are free but they do need to be registered. 

• Where can I find the full schedule for the weekend?

  A detailed scheduled will be located under Event Schedule tab above in January 2024.

 

Homecoming Alumni Celebration Reception

50-Year Reunion and Golden Lancer Breakfast

• When and where is this event?

• Who can attend this event?

  This event is exclusively for alumni celebrating their 50 year Reunion and Golden Lancer Reunion! In 2024 it will feature the Classes of 1974, 1954-1973! 

• Can my family come with me?

  Yes, but please let us know they are coming by registering all participants online.

• Is this event free?

  TBD

• What will this event consist of?

  Breakfast, a word from our president, Dr. Ellis, the opportunity to connect with former classmates and look through yearbooks and photos.

 

Lancer Lunch

• When and where is this event?

  Lunch, share memories, connect with friends!
• Is there a charge for this event?

Campus Tours

• When and where is this event?
  Shuttle will leave from the Front Lawn Shuttle Stop, specific times will be announced in January 2024.
• What is this event?

  Guided trolley tour of CBU's beautiful and expanding campus.

• Is registration required?

  Registration is required as space is limited. 

• I registered, but I want to change my tour time.

  We cannot change the tour roster at this point, but you can show up to the desired tour time and see if you can fill a vacant spot the day of. 

 

Hymn Sing

• What is this event?
  The School of Performing Arts hosts Homecomign attendees at a group sing along featuring hymn favorites.

 

10-Year and 25-Year Reunions

• When and where is this event?
  TBD
• Who should attend this event?
  This event will be for alumni (and their families) of the classes of 2014, 1999, and 1974 at Homecoming 2024.
• Can my family come with me?
  Yes, but please let us know they are coming by registering all participants online. 
• Is this event free?
  TBD
• What will this event consist of?
  Refreshments, the opportunity to connect with former classmates and look through yearbooks and photos. 

 

Pre-Game Party

• When and where is this event?

  TBD

• What will this event consist of?

  Party on the Plaza! Attractions, face painting, music and much more. Food available to purchase. Attractions are free to entire CBU community. Schools and Colleges will be hosting an alumni reunion mixer on the plaza. Be sure to connect with faculty and staff from the school or college you graduated from. 

 

Athletics

• How do I get tickets for the basketball game?

  TBD

• Does my student get into the basketball game for free?
  If you would like to sit with your student, you must include them in your seat selection/ ticket purchase. Students get free admission to the student section, only. 
• How do I get a ticket for other athletic events taking place that weekend?
   You may do so through the CBU Ticketing Office: www.cbulancers.com/tickets 

 

Travel Accommodations

• Where should I stay?

  CBU has relationships with several hotels in the area. Check out our website for a few recommendations. 

• Does CBU run an airport shuttle?

  No, however…

  CBU has a relationship with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Follow the instructions on our website to make arrangements for your personal car rental. 

  There are also ride share companies that do provide services from ONT and LAX (e.g. Lyft).

• Where do I park?

  Depending on what events you are coming to campus for…

  • In the CBU East Parking Structure located directly off the 91 freeway, on the corner of Adams St. and Diana St.
  • Yeager Lots 1 & 2
