• Each graduate will be allowed up to 11 tickets for August 2022, on a first come, first served basis.
  • A ticket promo code to claim tickets will be sent to your Lancer Mail at the end of July 2022.
  • Tickets must be claimed by the deadline sent to your Lancer Mail. The promo code sent to your Lancer Mail will expire after the deadline, and you will be unable to claim your tickets.
  • Instructions to access tickets online will be emailed to the Lancer Mail account of each approved Graduate in July. Please contact the CBU Events Center Ticket Office at 877-456-LANCER (5262) or if you have any questions or need assistance.
  • Graduates participating in the ceremony do not need a ticket, but will need to request tickets for guests.
  • All children age 2 and older will require a ticket.
  • DO NOT claim your tickets using the promo code sent to your Lancer Mail if you are requesting ADA accommodations for your guests. For ADA instructions of how to reserve tickets, please see the ADA information below.

Frequently Asked Questions - TICKETS

  • Is seating assigned or general admission?

    Seating is assigned for all Commencement ceremonies. Upon checkout, the ticket system will assign you the best available seating. The sooner you go online to claim your tickets; the better seats you will receive.

  • If my guest needs special accommodations (ADA seating tickets), do I still order my tickets online and complete the accommodations form? 
    No. Please fill out the Attending Guests Only - ADA Accommodations Request form. Be sure to enter a valid contact phone number and we will contact you to reserve your tickets in July. Please be specific regarding your seating needs. DO NOT PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE USING YOUR PROMO CODE IF YOU ARE MAKING SPECIAL ADA REQUESTS FOR YOUR GUESTS.
  • How will I receive my tickets if ordered online?

    You will receive instructions to your Lancer Mail in July. Follow the ordering instructions online and choose either the "Print at Home" or the “Mobile Ticket" delivery option. Tickets will be sent to the email address given when setting up an account.

  • Arena Security
    The University desires to provide the safest environment for our Graduates and their guests. Certain items such as confetti, noise makers, balloons and wrapped gifts are prohibited at the ceremonies. To see a complete list of Events Center rules and regulations including prohibited items, please read below:
    • CBU management reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with management rules. Breach of any of the foregoing will automatically result in termination of this license.
    • In compliance with CBU policy, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, controlled substances, professional cameras, outside food or drink may not be brought into the premises. Some facilities may enforce additional restrictions to other items including, but not limited to noise makers, confetti, balloons, backpacks, umbrellas, baby strollers, signs, and banners. Please consult all venue regulations prior to attendance at the event. For further questions contact the CBU Box Office.

  • ADA Accommodations for Guests

    Fill out the Attending Guests Only - ADA Accommodations Request Form for:

    • Guests Needing Assistance or Accessible Seating
      While accommodations on campus are fully ADA compliant, disability seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the accommodation request form below.
    • For the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Closed Captioning will be available by QR Code. Sign Language Interpreting is ONLY AVAILABLE BY REQUEST ON THE FORM. 



    • DO NOT claim tickets online with promo code sent to your Lancer Mail if you need ADA accommodations for your guests.
    • If you, the Graduate, need ADA accommodations, please fill out the form the Graduate Only - ADA Accommodations Requests form.
    • There will be disability parking areas designated for our guests with disability placards or license plates. Parking attendants will direct these guests to the appropriate areas.
