Join us for the 2nd annual Lancer Dash! The whole family is invited to participate in this fun run for a cause, supporting the CBU Fill-the-Gap Fund. The 2.1-mile route will remain entirely on the CBU campus and is ADA- and stroller-accessible. Whether you're walking, jogging, or racing to the finish, you’ll be running for more than just fun - you’ll be running for a cause. All proceeds go directly to the Fill-the-Gap Fund, which helps students facing unexpected financial challenges continue their education at CBU. By contributing, you can make a direct impact, ensuring no Lancer is left behind as they pursue their academic and spiritual growth.
Once you register for the Lancer Dash, create your fundraising team and start crowdfunding towards the Fill-the-Gap Fund. All teams that fundraise at least $50 will receive an exclusive Lancer Dash water bottle, and all teams that fundraise at least $100 will receive a CBU swag bag. The best-dressed team receives a CBU Apparel Bundle, and the top three fundraising teams score VIP access to the Fortuna Bowl! Lace up and show your Lancer spirit! *Additional Fee - $10 for guests, $5 for students, and FREE for children ages 0–11 – Individuals/Teams are encouraged to crowdfund. All proceeds will go towards the Fill-the-Gap Fund.

Fortuna Bowl & Firework Show

The Fortuna Bowl is one of CBU's favorite and longest-standing student traditions. CBU's intramural flag football championship games, hosted by the CBU Recreation Center, are a must-see event. The women's championship teams kick off the night at 6:00 p.m. and the men's game follows. After the men's game, we celebrate and wrap up the weekend with a spectacular fireworks show!

CBU Women's and Men's Basketball game tickets are not included in Parent and Family general registration. Tickets to the CBU Basketball games on Parent & Family Weekend will be available for purchase mid-September. When tickets go on sale, an email including a link to discounted tickets will be sent to all who registered for Parent & Family Weekend.
Please note: CBU students enter for FREE if they sit in the student section. If a student would like to sit with their family, purchase their ticket with the family's block of seats.

CBU students and children (ages 0-11) are welcome to join Parent & Family Weekend
for FREE! Please register any other guest who doesn't fall into one of these two categories
as a "General Registration" ticket.
You will need to purchase add-on tickets for your CBU student or child (ages 0-11)
if they plan to participate in any supplemental PFW activities.
If your CBU student plans to sit with you at the basketball game, you must include
them in your seat selection and ticket purchase through Athletics. Students can get
free admission to the game, but ONLY in the student section.

When a student’s financial capacity challenges their ability to remain at CBU, the
Fill-the-Gap Fund assists in covering some of those remaining costs. This scholarship
fund literally “fills the gap” and allows students to remain at CBU, enabling them
to stay focused on their education and future.
Your gift to this scholarship directly supports students in overcoming financial gaps,
ensuring they can continue their education uninterrupted. For many students, the Fill-the-Gap
fund is an answer to prayer.
No. Although the Lancer Dash is an activity part of the Parent and Family Weekend schedule, registration is separate. Sign up by registering through the Lancer Dash Registration form, so you can also create a personal fundraising team page and start crowdfunding towards the Fill-the-Gap Fund! The top fundraising team winners will receive awesome prizes, like free basketball game tickets at Parent and Family Weekend and more!
If you want to sit with your student, you must include them in your seat selection/ ticket purchase. Students get free admission to the student section only.
CBU has relationships with several hotels in the area, which means you may get a discount! Ask for the CBU rate! Check out our website for a few recommendations.

CBU has a relationship with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Follow the instructions on our website to make arrangements for your car rental.
There are rideshare companies that do provide services from ONT and LAX (e.g. Lyft).
Parking is available in the CBU East Parking Structure located directly off the 91 freeway, on the corner of Adams St. and Diana St.
