CBU aviation science has been developed for those who have a passion for aviation in whatever capacity. Do you dream of becoming a pilot? an airport manager or FBO manager? an airline dispatcher? Do you want to be an aviation missionary or unmanned aerial system operator? Whether you have some aviation experience or none at all, the majors and courses within the Department of Aviation Science have been developed with your future success in mind.

Our Program

The CBU aviation science learning experience is:

→ Hands on
→ Expert led
→ Challenging
→ Personal
→ Leadership driven

All aviation science students will graduate with in-depth knowledge of the aviation industry, learning about airlines, airports, FBOs, laws and regulations, labor issues, safety and security, aircraft operating characteristics, aerodynamics, meteorology, international aviation environment, human factors, environmental issues and airline management issues and practices.

Additionally, students will obtain a solid foundation in traditional general education topics, such as English, history, science and mathematics. Since CBU is a Christian university, students will also deepen their understanding in Christian studies. Most importantly, students will graduate with a degree in aviation science from a top-ranked private Christian college that is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Students will be in small classes that allow for quality interaction among students and with the professor. In fact, the average student-faculty ratio at CBU is 21:1 and 48% of the university's classes have fewer than 20 students.
