Faculty Learning Communities

We strive to be one percent better today than we were yesterday!

Find a group of people who are interested in the same thing.  Join a faculty learning community to engage with others in thoughtful dialogue and hear about practices from around the university.  

  • Innovative Assessment Practices FLC

  • Artificial Intelligence and the Classroom FLC

    Let's explore various artificial intelligence generators.  How do they work?  Do they help or hinder student learning?  Can we use them to support our teaching practices?

  • Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) FLC

     Let's read SoTL work and get answers to our questions!  Engage in dialogue with your peers in ways that will inspire your teaching and possibly lead to a research study.

  • Faith Integration Fellowship
     Each year full-time faculty have the opportunity to apply for the Faith Integration Fellowship.  Fellows study the intersections of faith and learning.  Applications are coming soon, so watch this space for more information.

Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice are job-alike groups that meet to discuss and share ideas.  Get one percent better than you were yesterday by joining a community of practice and sharing your ideas!  Email the TLC to request permission to join one of these groups.  You may also suggest a community of practice if you do not see one that matches your role.
