Program Intro

CBU’s biomedical sciences program emphasizes human biology, pathobiology and pharmacology and includes multiple opportunities to engage in community service and leadership. It prepares students for success in graduate programs as our department sees a high level of students accepted into medical schools.

Program Details

BIO 313: Genetics

The principles of genetics including the nature of genetic materials, chromosome mechanics, genetic recombination, and gene action.

BIO 305: Microbiology with Lab

A general survey of microorganisms with an emphasis on bacteria.

BIO 404: Pharmacology with Discussion

This course will introduce the student to basic and clinical pharmacology as related to the promotion of health and alleviation of disease.
