Athletic training program achieves 10-year accreditation

California Baptist University's athletic training program has received continuing accreditation for 10 years from the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

Tara Anderson, a senior English major at California Baptist University, has been selected as the winner of the 2014 President’s Award for Excellence in Writing. Dr. Ronald L. Ellis, CBU president, presented the award at a luncheon April 21.

Anderson wins President’s Award for Excellence in Writing

Tara Anderson, a senior English major at California Baptist University, has been selected as the winner of the 2014 President’s Award for Excellence in Writing. Dr. Ronald L. Ellis, CBU president, presented the award at a luncheon April 21.

California Baptist University expects to launch a master of science in communication disorders degree beginning fall 2015. The program will allow graduates to apply for certification in speech language pathology, one of the fastest growing careers in health care today.

California Baptist University dedicates Food Innovation Center

California Baptist University dedicated its new Food Innovation Center Nov. 7. The state-of-the-art center is the focal point of the College of Allied Health’s nutrition and food services program and will be used as a laboratory for students, for service projects and for food industry research and development.
