• Bring your passport to check in
• Visit the booths at the Check-In Fair to learn about:
  • Activities on campus
  • Campus resources
  • Getting an on-campus job
  • Public transportation around Riverside
  • Sign Up for a campus tour

Lunch with the IC Staff 

• Join us at the at the Alumni Dining Commons. Lunch is complimentary for you and your family.

Optional Activities

• Join a campus tour
• Shopping at Target 

Annex Open House

• Come hang out with the International Center Staff at the IC Annex, a student space just for international students!

Dinner with the IC Staff

• Close out the day with dinner at the Alumni Dining Commons. Dinner is complimentary for you and your family.

Get settled on campus

• Locate your classrooms
• Complete the CBU Campus Scavenger Hunt

Please note: New domestic students move on to campus this morning. Expect the campus to be busy!

  • CBU culture
  • Life as an international student

International Student Welcome Dinner

• Join us for our annual Welcome Dinner for new international students! Along with a free meal we will have:
  • Free t-shirts for new international students
  • Games
  • Music
  • Opportunities to connect with other students

Mandatory Living Area Meetings

• All students who are living in CBU-provided housing will need to attend a Mandatory Living Area Meeting. Please check with your specific living area for the location of your meeting. Student not living in CBU-provided housing are free for the evening. 

Residential Late-Night Hangout (optional)

• Join other students from your living area and get connected! Check with your living area for details. 

CBU's Welcome Weekend activities

• Undergraduate students - Please plan to attend all the mandatory sessions for Welcome Weekend
• Graduate students - Contact your program director for next steps and any required program sessions you need to attend

Labor Day (an American holiday). CBU offices closed.
