Confirm Enrollment and Finalize Financial Aid

Confirm your enrollment, accept your financial aid award and follow your personalized New Student Checklist. At this stage, prepare to send your final transcripts, sign up for health insurance and make payment arrangements for your tuition.

Register for Courses

Begin planning your courses and schedule for your first semester. As CBU aims to guide your progress from day one, you’re encouraged to meet with your Student Success Coach to discuss courses in relation to your interests, major and desired career path. Understand that you’ll need to have your schedule planned before signing up for New Student Orientation.

Apply for Housing

Where do you see yourself making connections on campus? Explore all communities for first-year and transfer students before completing your housing application and roommate profile.

Plan for Orientation

We advise all incoming first-year students and transfer students to attend New Student Orientation to meet with faculty, staff and current students and begin their transition to campus life.

Additional Steps

If you haven’t done so already, submit transcripts for all colleges and universities attended to date for evaluation.

InsideCBU’s Degree Guide will indicate how your previously taken coursework will be applied. If you have already selected a major, reference this against CBU’s Major Planning Guides as you choose courses for your first semester.

In the meantime, review how to transfer credits to CBU and how your previously completed coursework will be evaluated. If you’re participating in an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) pathway from a California Community College, understand what’s next as you progress toward a bachelor’s degree.

Before confirming enrollment, international students must schedule a visa interview, make housing arrangements and pay their tuition deposit. Following, prepare to participate in online orientation and attend CBU’s International Welcome event, where you’ll have the chance to meet other international undergraduate students and learn more about campus traditions.

Review all next steps to confirm your spot. As you prepare to attend CBU, go over our Pre-Arrival Checklist as well as information about health insurance and housing.

CBU is a Yellow Ribbon School. We’re committed to helping veterans and current military members look ahead — be it through a degree you complete while finishing your service or thinking about your next career.

Learn more about using the GI Bill® or Tuition Assistance for current members of the Armed Forces. Find additional resources for using your benefits and submitting your Statement of Responsibility (SOR) form.
