About the Intensive English Program
The Intensive English Program (IEP) at California Baptist University offers classes from beginning to advanced levels that prepare students to academically succeed in undergraduate and graduate programs at CBU. Students have 20 hours of classroom instruction and take courses in reading, writing, listening and speaking, vocabulary and academic research.
Students with conditional acceptance to CBU can begin their undergraduate or graduate studies upon completion of the IEP. Students studying at the IEP have the opportunity to meet weekly with conversation partners, use the tutoring center, be involved in campus events, participate in cultural activities and make use of campus facilities.
