CBU Library Resources
The library exists to help meet the research and information needs of the CBU community, whether that’s in support of freshman composition papers or original research from faculty. While the library website is the front door of the library on the web, the following links may be particularly useful for researchers:
APA's Academic Writer
APA's Academic Writer is an award-winning platform that supports the research process from beginning to
end with a wide range of tools and resources for learning about APA style, conducting
research, writing a paper and getting it published.
Scopus
Scopus is an authoritative bibliographic index of scholarly materials, providing an extremely
customizable window into the scholarly conversation. Among many other uses, you can
use Scopus to quickly find the most influential papers on any topic—just sort a well-defined
search by “Cited by (highest).” What if you also want to be notified about new research
on that topic? Just click “Set alert” (free registration required for alerts).
Interlibrary Loan
No library includes everything, so interlibrary loan is how the gaps get filled. Learn
more here.
Guide to the Library for Faculty and Staff
This guide is the library’s place on the web to share information with faculty.
SHARE, CBU's Institutional Repository
SHARE is the open access digital repository that collects, showcases and preserves research
produced by CBU faculty and graduate students.
Research Consultations
Whether you’re scouring the scholarly record for a literature review, or just want
to brush up on the latest tools and techniques for scholarly research, scheduling
an appointment with a librarian can be a big help. Contact the library to set up a time.
