Kendra Flores-Carter is a co-PI on a multisite study designed to examine associations between depression, self-rated health and self-efficacy of disease management in prenatal women with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational). She previously trained and supervised graduate and medical students assisting with data collection. Since joining CBU's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, her role has been to provide clinical expertise on factors that might contribute to depression in prenatal women with diabetes. As a core member of the team, she attends monthly conference calls regarding data collection. In the near future, she will contribute to reports, presentations, and publications.
