Primary Goal

The primary goal of Diverse Populations is to encourage collaborative partnerships with other scientific disciplines, researchers, and organizations in conducting empirically based research which will explore the psychosocial dynamics and mental health concerns related to various cultural groups, marginalized populations, and individuals with various life challenges and circumstances who may experience difficulties in life. We believe that by connecting and collaborating with researchers from other fields and disciplines will only broaden and strengthen the overall purpose of research.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a platform where we can address the current challenges that impact today’s society. We seek to confront challenges related to culturally diverse people populations, social disparities and inequalities, and those experiencing challenges with health and/or medical conditions. Through various research partnerships, we aspire to learn about the many psychosocial challenges that people may experience and move in a positive direction in the amelioration of suffering, pain, and discrimination.
