Program Intro
Develop high-demand skills in tax accounting, auditing and other financial areas. Upon completion of an online bachelor's degree in accounting, many individuals will go on to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exams to become a licensed professional.

Consistent with the university student outcomes, upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree, graduates will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of key theories and principles from the areas of accounting, finance, and business.
- Use critical and creative thinking to create, identify issues with and present financial information that support business decisions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of business and accounting information systems.
- Apply biblical principles to make ethically sound financial decisions.
- Evaluate the impact of global factors on business management.
BUS 217: Microeconomics
Market structure and public policy are examined to evaluate their impact on economic welfare and the allocation of scarce resources.
BUS 337: Management with Biblical Foundation
A study of management and decision-making principles with a strong emphasis on integrating a biblical foundation.
ACC 480: Accounting Ethics
Ethical reasoning, corporate governance, decision making and ethical frameworks will be examined to provide a base of understanding.

What resources do I need to complete my degree online?
To complete your online degree, you will need access to a computer, Wi-Fi and a word
processor like Microsoft Word. These are necessary to access the student learning
system and complete your assignments. Some programs may require different resources.

When you complete and submit your application to CBU, a friendly and knowledgeable admissions counselor will guide you through the admissions process and all the necessary steps to become a Lancer.
CBU accepts applications for online enrollment throughout the year, and most online degree programs can start at 6 semester entry points per calendar year.
