Borrowing from other Libraries (IEALC)
IEALC stands for the Inland Empire Academic Libraries Cooperative. CBU belongs to this cooperative of 17 Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino County academic libraries. The CBU Library's participation in the IEALC makes current CBU students eligible to receive a special IEALC Library Card which allows them to use and borrow materials from any of the other participating libraries.
In order to use and borrow materials from participating libraries, students must obtain a special IEALC Library Card and present it at the libraries of the participating institutions when access to their materials is desired. This card is issued by the CBU library, and can be obtained by filling out a brief form at the CBU Library Circulation Desk.
If there is a specific library you'd like to use, you can get to its website using the map below. Otherwise, you can use WorldCat to see which libraries hold the books you need. (When viewing a book record in WorldCat, find the "Find it in libraries globally" section.)
Before visiting an IEALC library, it is often a good idea to verify that the book(s) you need are currently available.
