Pursuit Magazine
Pursuit magazine, established in 2010, expresses CBU campus culture and trends. The magazine features in-depth stories about prominent campus personalities, relevant topics, compelling perspectives, appealing design and engaging photography.
In 2017, the Associated Collegiate Press honored Pursuit with a Magazine Pacemaker Award, an accolade informally known as the Pulitzer Prize of college journalism. In 2022, Pursuit took home first place in the design category at the Baptist Communicators Association workshop in New Orleans.
In addition to the Pacemakers, Pursuit has taken home multiple first-place awards from the California College Media Association, Evangelical Press Association, College Media Association, Baptist Communicators Association and others for outstanding photojournalism, writing, illustration, layout, design and more — sometimes beating out professional staffs and experienced freelancers also competing.
