Tickets are selling fast for California Baptist University’s 2026-27 theatre season. The season includes two plays and two musicals along with A CBU Christmas, a fan favorite for eight years running.
Excitement filled the Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler Events Center in anticipation of spring commencement at California Baptist University. Over the five ceremonies held, family and friends cheered enthusiastically, celebrating and honoring the graduates for their achievements.
A small group of students practiced American Sign Language and discussed whether it was better to communicate the phrase “ID” or “driver’s license.” This phrase distinction was important since the students were employees from Altura Credit Union, learning ASL to better serve their Deaf members. Altura partnered with CBU’s Center for Deaf Studies to bring ASL instruction to its employees.
In a move to encourage and guide faith driven business leaders, California Baptist University will launch the Center for Biblical Principles in Business this fall. It is designed to equip professionals, students and scholars with the tools to integrate biblical wisdom into modern business practices.
