Current Assessment Activities

The entire university is involved in some elements of data collection, analysis, and performance tracking. Specific areas of the university take part in concentrated improvement efforts related to student learning and success. The following links provide access to direct evidence of the various improvement activities currently underway at CBU.

Comprehensive University Plan
CBU’s strategic plan, known as the Comprehensive University Plan (CUP), articulates the priorities of the university and describes future plans and performance benchmarks, including the University’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Annual Assessment Portfolios
Each area participating in CBU’s focused improvement process has a dedicated assessment portfolio that outlines current assessment activities. Assessment portfolios can be accessed by writing to knehrbass@calbaptist.edu.

Program Review
Each program or unit that participates in the annual assessment process regularly undertakes a systematic review of the program’s currency, quality, and viability. This program review self-study engages internal and external stakeholders in a rigorous examination of evidence leading to the development of a strategic plan.
