This course covers the hardware, software, and infrastructure that support management information systems designed to achieve innovative business success. Business Analytics

Businesses are consistently tasked with the external forces of customer buying power, and the internal organizational forces of recruiting, hiring, and managing of the workforce who support those decisions. Therefore, customer and people analytics are essential to the important synergy in marketing your product. Learn to build, through fundamentals of people analytics, those teams necessary to support your marketing functions. The primary focus of the course learning objectives is to describe and support data collection and communicate the outcome of customer decisions in order to underpin strategic marketing decisions for an organization's growth and sustainability. This course is designed to impact the way you think about transforming data into better decisions in operations and logistic analytics. This course focuses on how the data can be used by project and program managers to institute initial supply chains and improve existing supply chains in support of effective and efficient logistic outcomes. In order for businesses to remain competitive and profitable, operations and logistics must respond to changes in the market by customers, policy and risk. This course will challenge the student to analyze data from these three areas quantitatively, produce methods to adapt to these challenges, which include challenges of collecting impactful data, and predict possible outcomes. This course delves into the field of predictive analytics, where you'll learn how to use exploratory, forecasting, and predictive modeling integrated for model fitting and analysis in specific applied business environments. Concepts combine application of business strategy, information technology, and modeling methods. Students will build and explore predictive models in conjunction with continuous and categorical business environments in marketing, finance, production, process, and managerial targets. Students successfully completing this course will be prepared for SAS Global Certification exam in Visual Modeling using SAS Visual Statistics 7.4 software. Additional software fee. Information Systems Structure

This course is a study of the knowledge and skills used to protect networks using the tools and techniques of an ethical hacker. Students will explore the concept of ethical hacking and its practitioners, along with performing security testing. A technology focused course, students will learn new security resources, emerging vulnerabilities, innovative methods to protect networks, mobile security considerations and computer crime laws.
