Southern Baptist Depository and Archive
The Southern Baptist Depository and Archive offers books, journals, convention and association annuals, state newspapers, Sunday school curriculum materials and other Southern Baptist publications. It includes historical records from many California Southern Baptist Convention churches, as well as historical records and photographs from Jenness Park Christian Camp. The book depository includes 2,934 books on Biblical studies, church history, and doctrinal and practical theology, including many from Baptist publishers like B & H Publishing, Mercer University Press and the Baptist Standard Bearer. Many Southern Baptist journals and magazines are indexed in the Southern Baptist Periodical Index. Additionally, many older Baptist publications have passed into the public domain and are available from Google Books. Click here for a partial list.
The California Baptist University Queenie Simmons Archive provides access to information on the history of CBU through its collection of yearbooks, campus publications, photographs and other historical documents, in addition to the collected papers of S. G. Posey, Lawrence Nelson, Helen Walker and Melodie Yocum. It also includes historical records and photographs related to the history of Tahquitz Pines Conference Center.
