Institutional Review Board
The CBU Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a function of the Provost’s Office and exists to assure the rights and welfare of human participants in research. All research involving human participants conducted by CBU faculty, staff, or students must be reviewed and approved by the IRB before the research is initiated. Non-CBU affiliated researchers seeking to conduct research with CBU faculty, staff, or students are also required to have IRB approval.
Please note: The IRB cannot approve an application submitted after the research is initiated.
