Institutional Review Board

The CBU Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a function of Educational Effectiveness and exists to assure human and animal research subjects' rights and welfare are safeguarded.  All research involving human and animal subjects (participants) conducted by CBU faculty, staff, or students must be reviewed and approved by the IRB before the research is initiated.

Please note: the IRB cannot approve an application submitted after the research is initiated, nor consent to any human subjects data collected without prior approval.
