What did you think about your professors?
I thought they were all super talented and very caring people. They genuinely care about their students and it was amazing to have professionals that were also in the industry giving advice, as well as teaching from a biblical perspective. I am so thankful for all they have taught me allowing me to get the dream job I currently am in!

Did you complete an internship or any field work?
During my time at CBU, I was in the mentorship program, which was really amazing to connect with other creatives and get to help those who were new to design. I started as a mentee the first year and then became a mentor for the following two years!

Did you participate in anything else at CBU?
I played in many of the intramurals and had such an amazing time! I was able to play flag football, basketball, and softball which kept me active and meeting new people. I would definitely recommend them!

Life after CBU

What have you done since graduating?
Since graduating from CBU, I got married to my high school sweetheart who graduated with a Finance degree at CBU, and moved across the country to work as a Graphic Designer for Arhaus Inc.

My current role as a graphic designer at Arhaus is to assist my creative director to design and concept the campaigns of each season, as well as design the catalogs that come out for each season.

Is there anything you learned at CBU that you still use in your professional life today?
One of the skills I still use today is the importance of typography and grid work, especially when designing the catalogs.

How are you making a difference in the world? How are you living your purpose?
I have been able to share the gospel with my coworkers and always try to work above and beyond to honor God in everything I do.

What are your future goals and plans?
My future goals include working in design as an Art Director if that is where God allows me to be, as well as a mother and wife!

Would you recommend CBU to others?
I would recommend CBU because it was an amazing experience; my relationship with God strengthened and I built lasting connections and friendships. The small class sizes allowed us to have more review and attention on our projects, as well as better connection with each other and our professors.
