Important Dates and Deadlines
- Application Dates
The Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 application is open! It is important to note we offer rolling admissions and do not have a deadline for students to complete their application by.
- Application Requirements
Our application is simple. We require students to submit a 3-5 paragraph essay, pay a $45 application fee, and send us their official transcripts. For more information, click here to view our application requirements and how they apply.
- Lancer Select
If a student applies to CBU and gets admitted by our priority deadline of December 1st, they will be part of Lancer Select, a special group of our early-admitted Lancers. For more information about the benefits of being a part of Lancer Select, click here!
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
The FAFSA opens October 1st and is important for students to complete as soon as possible. At CBU, our financial aid office will create an offer letter for students only after they have been admitted to CBU and have completed a FAFSA. Students can send their FAFSA to CBU by adding our school code – 001125. For students coming from California, it is also important to meet the Cal Grant deadline of March 2nd. - If a student has completed more than 24 units of dual enrollment or college credit
should they apply as a first-time freshman or as a transfer student?
