Public Health Club
The mission of CBU’s Public Health Club is to teach students about the field of public health and to create conditions to increase the health of members of the CBU campus and surrounding communities through events and collaboration. Club members participate in the annual National Public Health Week on campus and workshops on health related topics through guest speakers, activities, and other avenues throughout the year.

Nutrition and Food Sciences Club
The Nutrition and Food Sciences Club participates in coordinated learning opportunities outside the classroom and club activities related to dietetics, nutrition and food technology. The club makes Christmas cookies for the Fred Jordan Mission Homeless Center each December. Club members are also provided information about NFS related internships, jobs and graduate school opportunities at club meetings throughout the year.

Eta Sigma Gamma
Eta Sigma Gamma is the national honorary society for health education. ESG promotes the health education discipline by elevating the standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of men and women through excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Invitations to join ESG and participate in the initiation ceremony are emailed to eligible students each fall semester. Students are eligible for membership after the completion of one semester of coursework at CBU and declaring a major, minor or concentration specifically in health education. Students must have and maintain an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 GPA for membership. Members have opportunities to meet students, faculty and other health education professionals through chapter socials, community service and research activities. Members in good standing are eligible to graduate with ESG honors including the wearing of the ESG Honor Chord at graduation.

American Women’s Medical Association
The American Medical Women’s Association brings together students in health-related fields to support students' professional and personal development. Students majoring in health science (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-pharm, pre-dental) receive opportunities to network with other pre-professional students and professionals in the community.
