Robert Pate, PsyD
Robert Pate, PsyD, received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Wagner College
in Staten Island, NY. He went on to receive an M.A. and PsyD in clinical psychology
from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. Dr. Pate
is an Professor of Psychology in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at
California Baptist University (CBU), serving as the director of clinical training
for the doctor of psychology (PsyD) program. Dr. Pate is a licensed clinical psychologist
practicing in Orange County, CA, serving distressed couples and individual adolescents
and adults. Dr. Pate’s research and clinical interests focus primarily on psychotherapy
with couples and individual men, as well as the integration of faith, specifically
Christian/biblical principles, in clinical settings.
