I am working in a public agency. Is the content relevant to my current position? 

Yes. The MPA is designed to be a scholar-practitioner management degree. You will be able to apply your course content to your workplace as you learn. 

Will I have to log into live online sessions at specific times during the week? 

No. You will have access to all course lectures and resource materials at the beginning of each week. You may complete your reading and research at your own pace as you develop your assignments and submit them weekly. 

How will I be interacting with the other students in the course? 

You will complete presentations and written work that will be submitted to the discussion board in Blackboard. All students will then comment on each other’s ideas and content. Additionally, study groups are highly encouraged. Students will form groups and meet virtually based on their individual schedules. 

Are CBU online programs accredited? 

California Baptist University, which includes all programs offered online, is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Many prospective students are uncertain about which college degrees employers or universities will accept.
