Do you offer concentrations for the DMSc? We do not offer concentrations. This is by design. The goal of this program is to
holistically develop our students as practitioners by strengthening medical acumen,
developing effective leadership, and increasing the ability to conduct and lead research
in the medical field inequal measure.
I am not currently a practicing Physician Assistant. Am I able to join this program? You are required to be a licensed Physician Assistant to qualify for the DMSc program.
This is due to the curriculum being built around the role and daily practice of a
Physician Assistant. If you are interested in becoming a PA, you cand find more information
about CBU’s PA program here: https://calbaptist.edu/academics/programs/master-of-science-physician-assistant-studies/
I completed my Physician Assistant studies as at the Bachelors/Certificate level.
Do I need my masters to join the program? You do need a masters degree to be eligible for the DMSc program but it does not need
to me a masters in Physician Assistant Studies. If you are a licensed PA and possess
a masters degree in any discipline, you will be eligible for the DMSc program.
