Application Requirements: 

1. Grade Point Average
   • • A minimum 3.0 GPA for admission
2. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or the evaluated equivalency.
3. Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN is required for APRN concentrations (Nurse Practitioner). 
4. An active, unencumbered California Registered Nursing (RN) License
5. Professional resume that includes current practice with a minimum of one year of work experience as RN for APRN concentrations (Nurse Practitioner).
6. Successful interview with the College of Nursing is required for Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator concentrations. 
7. Clearances:
   • • CPR Certification
     • Background Check Clearance
     • Health Clearance
     • Drug Testing
     • Proof of Health Insurance
     • Proof of Motor Vehicle Insurance

9. Students are expected to work as a registered nurse during the program to gain clinical experience.
