- Who is the Master of Arts of Worship Arts degree for?
It is designed to prepare men and women for a variety of leadership roles in the local church. - What will I learn?
The curriculum addresses 4 key areas of worship leadership:- Theological and biblical studies
- Worship-related studies such as worship planning, music and the arts in worship, and the history of worship
- Leadership development for ministry including how to work with a senior pastor and how to cultivate and lead paid and volunteer teams
- Practical worship leadership skills such as vocal and band leadership, audio-visual-lighting resources and technologies, arranging music for worship, and platform leadership
- Do I have to come to campus for class?
Most of the coursework is completed online, but students do attend a week-long residency on-campus in two consecutive summers. - Are there scholarships available for MA Worship Arts students?
Yes! Most students receive a scholarship as part of this program. -
What resources do I need to complete my degree online?
To complete your online degree, you will need access to a computer, Wi-Fi and a word processor like Microsoft Word. These are necessary to access the student learning system and complete your assignments. Some programs may require different resources.
