Student Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health will be able to:
- Effectively communicate public health information, in both oral and written forms
and through a variety of media, to diverse audiences. (CEPH)
- Locate, use, evaluate, and synthesize public health information. (CEPH)
- Describe the impact of policies and legislation on individual and population health.
- Design, plan and implement individual and population-based health education.
- Use research tools and analytical methods to conduct needs assessment, program evaluation
and research related to public health.
- Integrate a Christian perspective as it relates to health and wellness.
- Demonstrate cultural competence.
