1. Demonstrate the ability to acquire, critically analyze and present journalistic messages in an appropriate format using journalistic principles.
  2. Articulate and apply a Christian worldview to the legal, ethical and social responsibilities within the discipline of journalism.
  3. Evaluate and critique broadcast and production practices both holistically and in terms of their component parts, namely, audio, video, scripting, production and editing.
  4. Demonstrate competency in shooting and editing video in the field and studio, using professional-level editing processes and equipment.
