Welcome to CBU Academic Affairs
California Baptist University takes its commitment to strong academics and spiritual
values very seriously. Academically, we seek to provide students with the knowledge
and hands-on skills that they will need to excel in today's workforce. Our faculty
is made up of knowledgeable and compassionate Christian scholars who come from all
walks of life.
Our faith-based perspective means that you will gain an understanding of values and
ethics that will be important to you in your career. Having a command of facts and
figures will only take you so far in the changing times we live in. But understanding
how to put knowledge to work in the service of God will take you any place you want
to go.
At CBU we are committed to the success of our students. Our faculty will challenge
you to think critically and apply what you learn. Our library will give you the tools
and the resources for deep inquiry into the academic disciplines. We also provide
students with academic assistance through our Office of Student Success.
CBU alumni have made significant contributions to the fields of ministry, education,
