Student Veteran Association

Mission Statement

The SVA at California Baptist University is an inclusivity seeking organization dedicated to the promotion of student veterans, active duty, and military dependents. Our goal is to be actively involved in the larger campus and local community in the service of others and in advocacy for those who have served their country in military service and the families and friends that support/supported them. 

SVA Goals

• Establish an atmosphere of openness and acceptance for all military connected students that promotes a positive transition and environment for success in school and beyond. 
• Promote the awareness of veteran's on campus and their value to the university atmosphere. 
• Advocate on behalf of student veterans and military connected students in funding, career advancement, social life connection, and beyond. 
• Create an "in-between" space from service to school that allows for the successful adaptation to the new role as student veteran and establish and maintain a physical location on campus for the meeting and connection of military connected students.
