Student Health Insurance

CBU requires active Health Insurance for the following student populations:

  • All traditional undergraduate students at CBU enrolled for 7 or more units.
  • All Nursing Students (Graduate, OPS, and Undergraduate).
  • Graduate Students in the Athletic Training, Physician Assistant and Speech Language Pathology programs.

In accordance with this requirement, all students required to have health insurance are automatically billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan. This fee will be dropped when the online waiver form is successfully submitted and processed. Waivers are valid for the full academic year.

All waivers will be electronically verified and most correspondence will be coming to your LancerMail from Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk.

Gallagher Student Health accounts have been created for the student populations above. Check your LancerMail for an email from notifications@gallagherstudent.com with the Subject Line: Verify Your Gallagher Student Health Account. This email will include your temporary password. Follow the instructions to reset your password. Waiver and enrollment instructions are listed below.
