Student & Alumni Opportunities
The Jabs School of Business has several opportunities for students and alumni to enhance their experience and be a part of what God is doing within the university.
We come alongside our students as they embrace their careers in business as a calling from the Lord. In doing so, we recommend that students schedule an appointment with our Client Relations and Internship Specialist, Megan Turner, for assistance in pursuing internship and employment opportunities, articulating career goals, fine-tuning résumés and cover letters, and defining a projective career path.
- Schedule an appointment with the Client Relations and Internship Specialist by emailing email@example.com.
- View the Internship and Job Interview Guide.
- Download the Internship Packet to apply for academic credit.
- Visit the Career Center for more information about career opportunities.
Student Leadership Council
The Jabs Student Leadership Council exists to further the goals of the Jabs School of Business through student events, community engagement and special projects. The members of the Student Leadership Council represent the student interests to the School of Business faculty and staff, and coordinate new initiatives that will enhance the experience of all Jabs students.
For further information, please contact Cindie Duncan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Clubs play an important role on the California Baptist University campus by encouraging students to pursue interests, develop leadership skills, create meaningful relationships and enhance academic achievements. Within the Jabs School, students have the opportunity to join the following clubs:
- Accounting Society: Stephen Christie, advisor
- Investment Group: Adele Harrison, advisor
- Life101: Marc Weniger, advisor
- Marketing Club: Mandy Ortiz, advisor
- Real Estate Club: Keanon Alderson, advisor

Inviting our alumni back to campus on a regular basis is critical for deepening our relationships with our most enthusiastic advocates. As our best representatives of what an excellent CBU education provides, alumni voices are necessary for how we move forward as an institution. Our students benefit greatly from these partnerships as they oftentimes become key sources of internship and employment opportunities. We have an incredible Alumni Council Leadership team who are examples of how to live for Christ in the marketplace. For more information on how to get involved, contact Megan Turner at email@example.com.

A majority of our events are open to current students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community. Visit our Events & Important Dates page for a complete list of events and details.
