School of Behavioral Sciences

Welcome to the School of Behavioral Sciences

The School of Behavioral Sciences (SBS) offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the behavioral sciences.  At the undergraduate level, degrees are offered in Anthropology, Behavioral Sciences, Christian Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, and Sociology.  At the graduate level, the SBS offers a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology, a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry, a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and a Master of Social Work.  The SBS is one of the oldest and largest schools within CBU.  In addition to its rich historical foundations and current strength in student enrollment, the SBS is well known for its variety of program offerings, research and scholarship, practicum and training sites, and service to the community.  The Center for the Study of Human Behavior, the only facility of this kind at CBU, serves as an integral student and faculty research and training center.

Through academic and community engagement, rigorous research agendas, and excellence in teaching and learning, the SBS seeks to bring hope and healing to our world.  Alums of the SBS are well educated and trained in the classroom and in practical settings; but, more importantly, they are equipped to serve with excellence, compassion, and love in their respective settings.  I invite you to learn more about the SBS and find community here at CBU!

Please contact me and we can discuss how one of our programs can equip you with the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skill to respond to God's call in your life.
