Raised in a small town in the desert of Arizona, McKenna Bennett came to California for college (and to be closer to Disneyland). In 2014, she graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor of arts in business management. From there she worked for a year at a graduate school and church in San Jose, but has recently relocated back down south to Riverside to work as an RD here at CBU. She has a passion for college-age students, as she views it as one of the most transformative times of life. Two and a half of her years at APU were spent serving in residence life as a community mentor, resident advisor and community advisor. McKenna thrives in the residence life world for the love of the ability to truly live life alongside students. She strives to create a home for all her residents and to come alongside them in the hopes to see them mature in their faith and apply it in all they do. She also hopes to challenge students in order to inspire growth in their character and skill sets as they proceed in their college careers. Besides hanging out in Tower Hall, McKenna loves to go on adventures and explore new places (especially in the mountains), crafting (dabbling with calligraphy), playing sand volleyball, camping, Disneyland, learning new things and spending quality time with dear friends.
