Didactic Year Progression Requirements

  1. Have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. Have no less than a "B-" course grade in each course. Any student with any grade under a "B-" will be dismissed or decelarated from the program when the students performance is viewed as a whole.
  3. Satisfy any remediation requirements.
  4. Meet all professional requirements for the program and the institution (see handbooks).
  5. Maintain a drug-free status and a satisfactory background check.
  6. Keep immunizations up-to-date.
  7. Be recommended by the program's Student Progress Committee for promotion to the clinical year.

Clinical Year Progression Requirements

  1. Have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 
  2. Have no less than a "B-" course grade in each course. Any student with any grade under a "B-" will be dismissed or decelarated from the program when the students performance is viewed as a whole.
  3. Satisfy any remediation requirements.
  4. Meet all professional requirements of the program and the institution (see handbooks). 
  5. Pass a drug test prior to the start of clinical clerkships.
  6. Have a satisfactory background check.
  7. Update immunizations prior to the start of clinical clerkships.
  8. Pass a written Summative Exam and a practical (OSCE)
  9. Take a PACKRAT exam (for self-evaluation).

Graduation Requirements

  1. Have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. Have no less than a "B-" course grade in each course. Any student with any grade under a "B-" will be dismissed or decelarated from the program when the students performance is viewed as a whole
  3. Satisfy any remediation requirements.
  4. Pass a written Summative Exam and a practical (OSCE) 
  5. Take a PACKRAT exam (for self-evaluation).
  6. Meet all professional requirements of the program and the institution (see handbooks).
  7. Clear all graduation requirements with the university (academic and financial).
  8. Be recommended by the program's Student Progress Committee for graduation.

Students are required to participate in graduation ceremonies.
