Every student who is interested in attending CBU for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program should attend an information session. These sessions give details about the admission process, and helpful tips for applying.
This information session is not for current CBU pre-nursing students. It is intended for students who are interested in applying to CBU.
All Information Sessions will be held in the Billie and Eugene Yeager Center at 11 a.m. (unless otherwise noted).
Please click here for an updated list of BSN Information Sessions.
Please contact Undergraduate Admissions at (951) 343-4212 to RSVP.
In these workshops, we will walk through the NursingCAS application step by step. It is helpful for students participating in workshops to have created a NursingCAS account.
We are altering the format of our workshops. We are requiring you to view the virtual
application workshop listed below. After you have watched the virtual workshop, you
may come to our open office hours (only offered November-February, June-September)
to ask any specific questions you may have.
Office hours: Tuesdays 9:30am-10:30am. Click here to visit Sarah in her office (please watch workshop first)
TEAS Exam Dates
For all forseeable future application cycles, we are offering remote TEAS proctoring through Proctorio. If you would like to take the TEAS in person, you may do so through a PSI Testing Center. To find dates and locations, please see the information provided in the Application Requirements page.
If you are applying for the Fall 2022 cycle, you are required to take the TEAS exam by February 15th, 2022. As listed on our website, you have the ability to take the TEAS 3 times in one application cycle. You must wait 30 days in between attempts. This means, if you want the option to take the TEAS 3 times, you need to take the first attempt before December 15th.
For the Virtual TEAS offerings: available dates for the virtual TEAS exam for this application cycle will be updated regularly to indicate if registration for that date is open or closed. We are limiting each date to 40 registrants, and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost of the test is $70. You will pay on the day of the exam.
To cancel your exam date, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam. If you wish to reschedule, use the registration link below.
- Registration for a virtual TEAS date will close two business days prior to the scheduled test.
- You are not required to pay for the exam until the day of the test. However, failure to “appear” virtually for your scheduled exam date without 24 hours’ notice may affect the professionalism aspect of your application.
