Student Learning Outcomes
Consistent with the university student outcomes, upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree, graduates will be able to:
- Display knowledge of the historical foundations of psychology and how the field of psychology has developed over time.
- Compare current theories of human nature, including both normal and abnormal psychological functioning.
- Analyze various structures and functions of the human brain and the brain’s influence on psychological functioning and behavior.
- Apply various research methodologies to psychological constructs in behavioral science.
- Demonstrate critical thinking by synthesizing psychological concepts into professional written communication.
- Evaluate ethical issues surrounding psychological constructs through the lens of the Christian worldview.
