Student Leadership: Each year, CBU selects approximately 285 student leaders to serve in the following areas: ASCBU, Community Life, First-Year Experience, International Center, Residence Life and Spiritual Life. Student leaders have the opportunity to receive training and development throughout their year of service as they serve their peers.
Graduate Assistant Program: Each year, CBU selects approximately 10-15 graduate students to serve in various Student Services departments. The graduate assistant role is designed to supplement one's graduate studies, preferably in the student's particular field of study. Graduate assistants are selected in the spring to start serving a 10-month term in July for the following academic year. Please click here to learn more about the graduate assistant program.
Assessment Initiatives: Each of the Student Services departments is responsible to provide programs and services that support the student learning that takes place in the classroom. Each of the departments has defined student learning outcomes that encompass the foundation for all programming and services offered out of the various departments. These outcomes are focused on spiritual development, relational development, leadership development, worldview development and understanding of diversity in students.
