The FOCUS (First-year Orientation and Christian University Success) program exists to help smooth the transition to CBU for all incoming students. Through the FOCUS program, students develop life skills, deepen relationships and learn the basic information needed to successfully navigate through CBU.

Student Leadership

Each year, CBU selects approximately 285 student leaders to serve in the following areas: ASCBU, Community Life, FOCUS, International Center, Residence Life and Spiritual Life. Student leaders have the opportunity to receive training and development throughout their year of service as they serve their peers.

Graduate Assistant Program

Each year, CBU selects approximately 20 graduate students to serve in various Student Services departments. The graduate assistant role is designed to supplement one's graduate studies, preferably in the student's particular field of study. Graduate assistants are selected in the spring to start serving a 10-month term in July for the following academic year.
