RIVERSIDE (Jan. 21, 2014)--After defending its unbeaten streak Saturday night against its first ranked opponent, California Baptist University jumped from a No. 18 ranking up to No. 12 with this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II poll.

The Lancers, whose Monday night victory over Point Loma Nazarene is not included in the poll, are currently only one of five undefeated teams remaining in NCAA Division II. CBU sits 16-0 and 10-0 in the PacWest, good for a sole possession of first place in the conference.

CBU next heads out on the road for a span of four games, first taking on rival Azusa Pacific on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
