Espn To Broadcast Lancer Basketball Games
Riverside, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2016) –California Baptist University's nationally ranked men's and women's basketball teams both will compete in televised games on Jan. 9.
CBU will host Fresno Pacific University, with the women tipping off at 5 p.m. followed by the men at 7 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN3.
For the first time since joining the NCAA Division II, CBU has two top-25 basketball teams. The women currently are ranked No. 6 with a 10-1 overall record. The men's team has a record of 11-2 mark and is ranked No. 18.
The broadcast will mark the second time CBU's men have hosted a televised contest
in Van Dyne Gym and is the first of two scheduled during the 2015-16 season. The Lancer
men will also be featured on Fox Sports West on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. when they host Brigham
Young University-Hawaii.
