CBU?S Night of Nations Will Raise Funds For Summer Service Projects
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (March 26, 2015) -- California Baptist University's Office of Spiritual Life will hold its annual Night of Nations on March 27 in the Van Dyne Gym.
The event will raise funds and awareness as approximately 400 students, faculty and staff prepare to work on 42 teams in 18 countries in International Service Projects, United States Projects and Summer of Service.
The night's theme is "Flashback Friday." Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite outfit from any previous era.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and teams will be selling T-shirts, mugs and other items at the World Bazaar. Teams also will present videos or performances of old songs beginning at 7 p.m., with Brett Vowell, director of chapel and compassion ministries, as the emcee.
Friends and family are invited to attend. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for CBU students and $5 for children under the age of 12.
